Pro Synthesis Oy created its first sustainability report with Aila: CEO Hanne-Leona Luomajoki shares her thoughts on the reporting process.

When it became time to prepare a sustainability report, CEO Hanne-Leona decided to use Aila’s VSME tool.

“Although I had no prior experience with sustainability reporting, as soon as I learned about Aila Earth’s services, I sensed a natural push to get started. Despite being a small company, Pro Synthesis Oy invests in pioneering, foresightful practices. A pioneering spirit and a future-building mentality describe both me and the company I founded. I didn’t feel compelled to do this because of funding or obligation. It’s more a matter of values and my company’s societal mission. Nature is dear to me – also as a teacher. I am interested in all activities that support nature and the future. Sustainability is a key value for my company, as well as for our clients and partners. Aila’s tool guided us through the reporting process step by step. Through questions and examples, the company was able to identify its key ESG impacts and compile the information into a coherent report.
